Casale VerdeLuna is foremost a restaurant: our dishes are prepared in the country farm tradition, using products cultivated on our establishment, and by small local agricultural farms nearby.
From the hands of our cooks and chefs come the homemade pastas, daily fresh baked bread, and baked goods like Grandma used to make.
The various dishes we offer reflect the changing seasons of the countryside: the summer season with fresh garden vegetables, mushrooms and squash in the autumn, and toward winter, broccoli and cabbage, soups, and polenta are the starring features at our table. For those who like to taste home-made products and tast particular and exclusive dishes of this territory, we propose the typical products of small local establishments, far removed from the usual products available from commercial distributors. Lamb is offered from the pastures of Ciocaria, cheeses from buffalo and sheep, honey from the mountains, and chestnuts and truffles gathered from our local forests.
Within the company it is also possible to buy products from our cuisine, related to the chain of grape and Cesanese wine: marmalade made from Cesanese grapes, traditional pastries, wine biscuits called "ciambelline". You can buy from our cellar different types of bottled wine, dry, sweet, “passito”, and the Cesanese wines from our production that in 2008 will gain Docg level (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita).
